Working with the Antarctic Science Platform and Antarctica New Zealand, Magpie was engaged to synthesise the research findings of the first seven years of the platform into plain language summaries across key research topics to deliver the Impact portfolio. The project also included producing a short documentary, a series of topic videos, and social media content. Magpie worked closely with researchers to write, distill, illustrate, and design, a series of accessible scientifically accurate four-page summaries - which you can access here.

Through compelling first-hand accounts from Aotearoa New Zealand Antarctic scientists, this short documentary reveals the concerning transformations unfolding across the Antarctic landscape.
